Led by Grammy® Award winning conductor, Robert Shafer, The City Choir is proud to present A Royal Season.

From Handel’s regal Coronation Anthems to the pageantry of the music that was performed at Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 1953 coronation, the music of A Royal Season will transport audiences to another era and take each listener inside the minds and hearts of famous composers who gave the world these musical treasures.

The modest price of tickets covers only a small portion of the cost of producing and presenting professional-caliber performances that include orchestras and soloists of the highest musical quality. Your support will allow The City Choir of Washington to be a cultural bridge and celebrate the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Your generous contributions will be listed in our concert programs. In addition, you or your organization can become members of The Royal Circle, an exclusive group of donors who will be included in special opportunities and events throughout A Royal Season.
